Use large text and return from help

Navigate with Android text settings and keep your directory context.

The Android app follows the device font-size setting. At larger sizes the main navigation becomes a two-row layout so Find help, Urgent, Sources and Help remain reachable. Long lists and articles scroll. Rotate the screen when another layout is easier to read.

Search all help topics searches the bundled titles, summaries and article text. Use a few related words, then choose an article. All help topics returns to the list; Android Back preserves your search when returning from an article. Back to HomelessHelper returns to the app.

Opening help does not download a state or submit a question. Your currently loaded directory and filter remain in the app view model during ordinary help navigation and rotation. If the process is stopped by Android, reload the public directory when you reopen the app.

Choose English or Español at the top of the Android app or website. Android remembers this setting locally; changing it keeps the current directory, filter and screen. Both help catalogs are installed with Android. Help search ignores accents. Service search accepts common English and Spanish category words. Provider names, addresses and original record details remain in the source language. Website language is stored in this browser when storage is available; a shared ?lang=en or ?lang=es link can select a language explicitly.
