Privacy policy

Android, public website, help questions and optional provider workspace.

Updated September 7, 2026. This policy covers HomelessHelper provided by AutoSecureLogin: the Android public directory, website and optional provider workspace. Public resource searching needs no account. Questions and access, correction or deletion requests can be sent to contact@autosecurelogin.com with HomelessHelper privacy request in the subject.

Native Android: the app downloads a public directory for the state code you select. City, county, organization and service filtering runs locally. The current directory and search remain in memory while the process is alive and may clear when it closes. Native Android has no provider account or saved-list feature. It requests no precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or file access. Internet and network-state access support public directory loading; Android app backup is disabled.

Website location and saved resources: optional Use my location asks the browser for permission and uses coordinates locally for nearby sorting. Manual state/county search is available. Supported saved resource IDs stay in browser local storage and are not sent as a saved list to HomelessHelper. Remove them in My help list or clear site data. When local storage is blocked, the website explains its temporary in-memory list. Shared, copied, printed or PDF lists are user-controlled unencrypted exports.

Language preference: Android stores your English or Spanish choice in local app preferences; the website stores it in browser local storage when available. The choice does not create an account or send directory search words to the service. Clearing app data or browser storage resets the saved preference. Both languages include the same help and policy topics. Provider names, addresses and original record details remain in their source language.

Website help questions: pressing Ask sends your question to the shared AutoSecureLogin help service to return an answer grounded in reviewed help content and citations. This is an online operation. Do not submit private records, passwords or unnecessary sensitive details. Local help-center search in Android or the static website guide searches the bundled/page content without submitting your search words as a help question.

Optional provider workspace: AutoSecureLogin supplies your account identifier, display name, email, verification status and assigned roles. HomelessHelper stores submitted listing claims, corrections, complaints, resource submissions, evidence, availability notes, review decisions and timestamps to verify control, publish approved information, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Secure session cookies keep you signed in and protect provider actions. Provider display names and availability notes may become public; private account, evidence and complaint records are not public directory listings.

Technical information: hosting and security services may process IP address, user agent, requested path and request time for delivery, abuse prevention and operational investigation. HomelessHelper does not use advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. Public directory requests identify the requested state. Provider actions and help-question submissions send the information you explicitly provide for those functions.

Sharing and outside services: service providers support hosting, identity, email delivery and the shared help service. Information is processed to provide those functions and is not sold for advertising. Telephone, maps, source agencies and provider websites are separate services with their own policies. Choosing Call opens the dialer; choosing Map sends the published provider location or address to the maps service. The native app does not automatically place calls.

Retention and choices: native in-memory results clear when the process ends. Saved browser IDs last until removed or browser storage is cleared. Provider and review records are retained while needed to operate listings, resolve ownership or safety disputes, prevent fraud and meet applicable obligations. You may request account-related access, correction or deletion using the support address and the provider-workspace email. Explain which data you mean; never send passwords, government identification numbers or medical records. Some limited records may need to be retained for security, dispute or legal purposes, with the reason explained when applicable.

Security, age and changes: HTTPS and access controls protect online transmission and restrict provider tools; no service guarantees absolute security. HomelessHelper is a general community directory and is not designed for children under 13. Material policy changes will be posted with an updated date. Call a provider before traveling; call 911 for immediate danger and call or text 988 for U.S. suicide or mental-health crisis support.
