Install or refresh the website shortcut
A home-screen shortcut still uses the browser and an internet connection.
A supported browser may offer Install app or Add to Home screen for HomelessHelper. Follow that browser prompt to create a shortcut. This is the website experience; it does not add native Android-only controls or a permanently downloaded national directory.
The service worker intentionally avoids caching the directory so that available hours and provider updates are requested from the network. Saved resource IDs are a separate browser preference. If a page appears old, reload it while connected; check that you are on homeless.autosecurelogin.com.
Removing a home-screen shortcut may not clear browser storage. Use the website saved-list controls or the browser site-data settings to remove saved IDs, understanding that clearing site data also removes sessions and preferences for that origin. Keep useful resource details separately if you need a paper copy.
