Website features

Use website state, county and nearby search

The website offers location-based sorting and several resource collections.

On the website, choose a state and county and select the type of help you need. The nationwide finder, detailed provider directory and featured local records draw from different collections. Read the section heading and source information to understand which records you are viewing.

Use my location is optional. Your browser asks for permission before providing coordinates. The website uses those coordinates locally for nearby sorting. If permission is denied or a device cannot locate you, use the state and county controls instead. Do not confuse distance with confirmed accessibility or travel time.

These browser features differ from native Android, which uses a manually selected state and a local text filter without location permission. Both versions provide public information without an account. Outside maps and provider websites have their own location and privacy choices.
