Open calls, maps and provider links

External actions let you choose the app and whether to continue.

Call opens a dialer with the provider number. Map opens a Google Maps search using published coordinates when available, otherwise the published address. Provider website and source buttons open the corresponding web address. The app does not ask for your precise location.

Android can show a chooser if more than one app can handle a link. A missing dialer or browser produces a message instead of silently completing the action. Unsupported or untrusted link forms are blocked by the native app. A blocked link can still be reported to support with the public record name.

After opening another app, its privacy policy and permissions apply. A maps app may ask to use location for navigation; that is separate from HomelessHelper. Check the destination and provider identity before entering sensitive information. Return with Android Back or the app switcher.
